A Passion for Recruiting

I stumbled upon Recruiting after experiencing several different roles and industries after college graduation. It turned out to be the perfect career for a social scientist with a fascination for people’s stories.

Experience Across Industries

As a corporate recruiter I’ve spent over 20 years in both large companies and startups. I have worked in SaaS, Hardware, Security, Training, Consumer products, Marketing Tooling, Creative Agency, B2C software, Methodology and Professional Services companies, with a strong emphasis on building international teams.

Early Days of My Career

I was fortunate to start my career as the internet was becoming commercially viable and startups in the technology space were moving at a furious pace.

Working with a wide variety of growing companies provided the education of a lifetime (much like an MBA) in business practices, decision making, mentorship and leadership styles, corporate cultures, technologies and how good recruiting and retention of exceptional employees can make (or break) a business.

The Human-Centered Approach to Hiring

I strive to impart the importance of treating everyone in the process of hiring and job searching as the valued human being they are. I truly believe there is a right role for everyone.

Career Coaching: A Natural Extension

Offering job search and career coaching is a natural extension of my career and passion for supporting people on their journey.

My coaching practice draws on the full range of my life and work experience. I love sharing lessons learned with client companies and individuals.
